It seems so long ago when many of the families on our street and around the block were attending evening school board meetings in our Teravista t-shirts, united in getting a new elementary built in our neighborhood.. Two years later, it's finally ready to open, just in time for Taggert's 2nd grade year.. it's so exciting to see the hard work pay off with the opening of Teravista Elementary..On Friday night we went up to the school to meet his new teacher & drop off his school supplies.. what a special surprise to find Taggert's friend (and sometime "girlfriend" since kindergarten) Hannah will be in his class again this year.. not sure if I'm ready for the love notes again so soon..
I'm excited that all of us are involved with the school once again- this time as active committee chairs on the PTA. no doubt we will make it a special year for our kiddos..
